Life is Full of Surprises

How fast do I learn new words? Well, how fast can you talk? My daily exposer to advanced conceptual learning (watching Miss Rachel) and living in a language rich environment (my brother’s trash talking), has gifted me with a voice that is “sweeter than honey.” I am mellifluous.

Mellifluous: Flowing with honey, rich and sweet.

Notice anything different about me?

Yep, no more oxygen assistance during the day. I also have 10 new teeth and hundreds of new strands of hair to brush. On top of that I am sampling new foods daily. I prefer salty over sweet thank-you. My favorite season is summer when I can explore the outside world and take full advantage of all sorts of water play. When I am inside, I love to play with my brother Sam.

What is the best thing about having a Grandpa that teaches Driver’s Ed? Learning how to drive at such an early age.

And the Perks from being homeschooled all year?

I am at the top of my class! But here is the thing….life is not a bed of Roses. One day I have a cough and next day, I am in the E.R. Or one day I break out in an unexplainable rash and the next day I have having brain surgery and having my shunt replaced. AGAIN.

One day I am living in Tooele, Utah and the next day I am following a moving van to Sun Valley, Nevada. I will let you know how all this turns out. In the meantime, I recognize the constants in my life: my over-the-top and obsessive Grandma, my ability to sleep under most circumstances and my North Star who I call Mama.

Here is to a new year and new adventures. My sweetest words to you all.
